A Pixeldrain alternative for private transfers
Pixeldrain’s about page, checked 23 October 2026, says it is for public sharing and has been blocked in India since April 2024. Here you send private links up to 6 GB free.
- Works in India without regional ISP blocks
- 6 GB free per transfer, no account
- A password encrypts the files before upload
- Built for private handoffs, not public hosting
- Creator 50 GB, Pass 100 GB, and Pro 250 GB
What Pixeldrain’s about page stated
On 23 October 2026 Pixeldrain’s official about page stated that files are removed after 60 days without a qualifying download, and that a download fetching more than 10% of the file, not repeated inside 24 hours, resets that timer. The same page stated that the free plan is meant for public sharing rather than backups, and that free download limits use a 24-hour sliding window per IP address, where exceeding the limit turns previews off and reduces speed.
That same about page stated that hotlink protection can require a CAPTCHA when neither side has premium, and stated that Pixeldrain has been blocked in India since April 2024, while also naming the Philippines, Egypt, and Italy. Anonymous upload size in gigabytes and encryption wording were not stated on the about page that loaded that day.
Private transfers versus public file hosting
SendToAnyone is built for a private transfer between a sender and a recipient, not an inactivity-based public file host. You open the home page in the browser, including from India, drop up to 6 GB with no account, and pick a fixed expiry of 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days. A download does not extend that timer. When the timer ends, the download stops and scheduled cleanup deletes the files from global cloud storage.
A password encrypts the files before they leave the browser. It is not in the email. A link without a password keeps the key in the link. We cannot read those files. Recipients are not shown a CAPTCHA to unlock a normal download, and their download speed is not throttled by a public hotlink window.
Paid plans and honest boundaries
When a transfer is over 6 GB, Creator raises one transfer to 50 GB, stored total to 200 GB, and link length to 30 days for ₹299 or $3.99 monthly or ₹3,199 or $39.99 yearly. A Pass costs ₹199 or $2.49 for one 100 GB transfer that lasts 30 days and does not change the account plan. Pro raises one transfer to 250 GB, stored total to 1,000 GB, and link length to 1 year for ₹999 or $10.99 monthly or ₹10,499 or $109.99 yearly, after the server confirms payment.
Do not use SendToAnyone to host public mirror links or long-term archives that stay online through repeated downloads. Team checkout is not open, Studio and Business say Contact sales, and there is no EU storage region. An independent operator based in India runs the site, and the service is not yet certified. Prices exclude GST, and an India checkout adds 18% GST.

Questions
Does SendToAnyone work in India?
Yes. The site is run by an independent operator based in India, free transfers are 6 GB, and paid plans are listed in INR and USD.
Does a download reset the expiry timer here?
No. The link closes at the exact expiry time the sender picked, from 1 hour to 7 days on free or up to 1 year on Pro.
Will my recipient see a CAPTCHA or a speed throttle on a free link?
No. Free links are not throttled by a public hotlink quota.
Can I use this to host public files indefinitely?
No. Every transfer has a fixed expiry and is deleted when that timer ends.
