100 GB is a Pass, not the free send
Free stays 6 GB with no account. A Pass is one 100 GB transfer, 100 GB stored, for 30 days. It does not change the account plan.
- Free is 6 GB, not 100 GB
- Pass is ₹199 or $2.49
- Pass storage and transfer are both 100 GB
- The Pass link lasts 30 days
- An unused Pass can be refunded within 7 days
Free is still 6 GB
A search for a 100 GB free send does not match the free plan. The home page sends up to 6 GB, which is 6,000,000,000 bytes, with no account, and the link lasts at most 7 days. There is no coupon, region, or browser that turns that free cap into 100 GB. If the total is over 6 GB, the form refuses the transfer until you remove a file or you pay for a larger plan.
The recipient of a free link does not create an account. The file is stored on global cloud storage until the timer ends, then deleted. The upload does not transcode it. A password is optional. A password encrypts the files before they leave the browser. It is not in the email. A link without a password keeps the key in the link. We cannot read those files.
What the Pass is
A Pass costs ₹199 or $2.49. It allows one transfer of 100 GB, with 100 GB stored, for 30 days. It does not switch the account to Creator or Pro. The next send after the Pass is used follows the account you already have, which is free unless you also bought Creator or Pro. You need an account so the Pass is attached to it. The server applies it after payment is confirmed.
An unused Pass can be refunded within 7 days of payment. A Pass that has already been used for a transfer is not refunded. Monthly Creator and Pro payments are not refunded. A yearly plan can be refunded within 7 days. Prices exclude GST. An India checkout adds 18% GST on the checkout page.
Other ways to send more than 6 GB
Creator is 50 GB per transfer and 200 GB stored, for 30 days, at ₹299 or $3.99 monthly or ₹3,199 or $39.99 yearly. Pro is 250 GB per transfer and 1,000 GB stored, for 1 year, at ₹999 or $10.99 monthly or ₹10,499 or $109.99 yearly. Those are subscriptions. The Pass is the one-time 100 GB option. Studio and Business are not in checkout. Team checkout is not open. There is no EU storage region.
If 100 GB is still too small, Pro’s 250 GB transfer is the larger individual option that is actually for sale. Do not read a competitor’s free-tier headline as a SendToAnyone limit. The pricing page is the list of amounts the checkout can charge.
