A SwissTransfer alternative that works across regions

Free here is 6 GB per transfer for up to 7 days, with no account. SwissTransfer’s free 50 GB cap is larger, while its pages noted regional restrictions outside Europe.

Where SwissTransfer is larger, and where pages differed

On 23 October 2026 both swisstransfer.com and Infomaniak’s limits FAQ stated 50 GB per transfer for free. SendToAnyone’s free tier is 6 GB per transfer, so if you are in a supported country and need a 30 GB send without paying, SwissTransfer’s free cap is larger than ours. Their retention and verification rules were not one single reading across their own pages that day.

The swisstransfer.com homepage said maximum availability is 30 days, and that choosing 30 days sends an email on day 12 inviting the sender to confirm extension past day 15. Infomaniak’s product page card said available for up to 60 days, while the FAQ on that same page said 1 to 30 days, or 60 on Enterprise. The product page also said the first send from a new device asks for an email verification, while swisstransfer.com said no account to send or receive. Both readings stay visible here.

Region availability and encryption differences

On 23 October 2026 the swisstransfer.com homepage stated that creating a transfer is not available from a number of countries outside Europe, while receiving is unrestricted. Their FAQ also noted that a Download all zip over 10 GB must be downloaded file by file. SendToAnyone does not block senders outside Europe: you can open the home page in India, the United States, or anywhere else and upload up to 6 GB free with no account and no device verification email.

The swisstransfer.com homepage stated in plain language that files are encrypted in transit and at rest, and that this is not end-to-end encryption. Here, the browser encrypts the files before upload by default. A password encrypts the files before they leave the browser. It is not in the email. A link without a password keeps the key in the link. We cannot read those files. Turning encryption off leaves the files encrypted in transit and at rest.

When you need more than 6 GB here

Creator raises one transfer to 50 GB, stored total to 200 GB, and link length to 30 days for ₹299 or $3.99 monthly or ₹3,199 or $39.99 yearly. A Pass is ₹199 or $2.49 for one 100 GB transfer for 30 days and does not change the account plan. Pro raises one transfer to 250 GB, stored total to 1,000 GB, and link length to 1 year for ₹999 or $10.99 monthly or ₹10,499 or $109.99 yearly, after the server confirms payment.

There is no choice of a Switzerland or EU storage region here. Files sit on global cloud storage until the link expires. An independent operator based in India runs the site, and the service is not yet certified. Team checkout is not open, and Studio and Business say Contact sales. The upload scan checks the file name and the first few kilobytes before encryption and cannot detect every kind of malware.
