Temporary file sharing with auto-expiring links
Every transfer has a timer. Pick 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days on the free 6 GB plan, and the files are deleted from storage after the link expires.
- Choose 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days on free
- 6 GB per transfer with no account for sender or recipient
- Optional download count limit or close-after-download setting
- A password encrypts the files before upload
- Creator keeps links up to 30 days and Pro up to 1 year
Set the lifespan to match the handoff
Permanent cloud folders accumulate old drafts, client exports, and tax PDFs that nobody remembers to revoke six months later. Temporary file sharing reverses that default: you decide when the link dies before you upload the first byte.
On the free plan, you can set a link to stay open for 1 hour (for a live call or quick handoff), 24 hours (for a same-day review), 3 days, or 7 days (the free maximum). Under advanced options on the send form, you can also set a maximum download count or tell the link to close after the download completes. Once the expiry time arrives, the download endpoint refuses further requests and scheduled cleanup deletes the stored objects from global cloud storage.
No account trails and optional password encryption
You do not need an account to create a temporary transfer up to 6 GB, and the person receiving the link does not need an account to open it. You can copy the `/d/` link directly into a chat or send it via the email tab.
A password encrypts the files before they leave the browser. It is not in the email. A link without a password keeps the key in the link. We cannot read those files. Unlike public file hosting services where popular downloads extend the timer for months, a download on SendToAnyone never extends the expiration clock you chose.
When you need a 30-day or 1-year window
Seven days is the longest free link. If a client is traveling or needs a month-long download window, Creator raises the maximum expiry to 30 days and the transfer size to 50 GB for ₹299 or $3.99 monthly or ₹3,199 or $39.99 yearly. A Pass gives one 100 GB transfer a 30-day window for ₹199 or $2.49. Pro raises the maximum expiry to 1 year and the transfer size to 250 GB for ₹999 or $10.99 monthly or ₹10,499 or $109.99 yearly, after payment is confirmed.
Expired transfers cannot be restored or reopened on any plan, so always keep your own local backup. Team checkout is not open, Studio and Business say Contact sales, and there is no choice of an EU storage region. An independent operator based in India runs the service, and it is not yet certified.

Questions
Can an expired transfer be recovered after the timer runs out?
No. When a link expires, downloads are refused and scheduled cleanup deletes the files from global cloud storage. Keep your own copy.
Does downloading a file reset or extend the expiry timer?
No. The link closes at the exact expiration time you selected when uploading.
Can I make a link expire after 1 hour?
Yes. 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days, and 7 days are all available on the free plan with no account.
Can I also limit how many times the link is downloaded?
Yes. The send form includes an optional download limit and an option to close the link after download.
